Nirekha which is close to Tibetan boarder lies in Mahalangur region. It is hidden among the lap of well known giants Everest, Cho Oyu and Cholatse. It is recently opened for the western climbers. The climb is straightforward and it requires ice-axe, crampons, and some fixed rope sections. We fly to Lukla and continue trekking to Namche Bazzar. We stay there for a while for acclimatization. It is one of the luxurious place and you can check email, go for shopping and rent climbing gears.

Nirekha Peak ClimbingAbout two hours walk up to Kyangjuma and there is separate trail and one left north trail goes to Gokyo Valley perhaps your picnic will be in Mungla 3900m. This is one of the best view point of Thamaserku, Amadablam and Tawache peak.continus trekking to Dole, Mochermo and Gokyo lake (4700m) is easy walk and Great view of Cho oyu and Cholotse.Gokyo Ri (5360m) is one of the best panorama View Pint in Khumbu region and probably you will see more then 95% Mountain include,Cho oyu, Gyachungkhang, Pumar, Everest, Lhote, Makalu,Khangenga, Thamasherku,Tawche,Cholotse and more.Nirekha Peak is famous Trekking Rote Chola pass,but from Chola Base Camp tiny trail to the north and just before the Glacier is Nirekha Base Camp. Base Camp to High camp is about 2-3 hrs.Nirekha peak is one of the difficult peak and we need fix Rope, Ice screw and clients need jumar.because climbing rote is south west face and there is really hard blue ice. also summit ridge is long way up and there are several deep kharavas.but views are imaging, Everest, Cho Oyu,Makalu, Amadablam and all Khumbu Himal.

Nirekha Peak Climbing Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel. If you have time, a little bit sightseeing in kathmandu valley with our tour guide.

Day 02: Kathmandu free day for trekking preparation.

Day 03: Kathmandu fly to Lukla (2800m) then commence trek to Phakding (2600m)

Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazar (3440m)

Day 05: Excursion day

Day 06: Trek to Dole (4000m)

Day 07: Trek to Machharma (4400m)

Day 08: Trek to Gokyo (4750m)

Day 09: Trek to Gokyo and Gokyo-Ri (5350m) and back to Gokyo

Day 10: Trek to Gokyo - Thangna

Day 11: Thangna to Nirekha Base Camp

Day 12: Acclimatization at Nirekha Base camp

Day 13: Nirekha Base Camp to High Camp

Day 14: High Camp to Nirekha Summit (6169m) return to Base Camp

Day 15: Nirekha Base Camp to over cho la pass and Camp at Zongla

Day 16: Zongla to Gorek shep

Day 17: Gorek shep to Kalapather and return to Lobuche

Day 18: Lobuche to Dingboche

Day 19: Dingboche to Thyangboche

Day 20: Thyangboche to Namche Bazzar (3440m)
